If I will put my papers, and I am on a critical client project and critical resource, am I expected to work my ass off during this notice period as well? If I start slacking off, what could be potential adverse effects of that? Can managers do any harm from now till end of my tenure?

Bro the fact that you asked this question implies that you are bit afraid of your manager and company. Just a humble suggestion from a guy who left Accenture: just don't give a f**k and take wfh during np.
Only thing you should be worried is Landing interviews

Btw I'm grateful for the opportunity at acn but it's just I've seen some stuff which i wish i hadn't.
Especially politics, favourism and how management are taking decisions.
