Work Hour Reduction.

I strongly believe if companies reduced work hours to 6-7 hours a day it’ll increase in individual’s moral as well as productivity, what do you guys think? Currently my shift hours is 9 hours a day traveling to and from excluded which leads to 12 hours a day, which gets hectic sometimes.

People at my company work 6-7 hours a day and it definitely helps reduce attrition

I mean it makes sense, plus going to the office seems absolutely pointless in IT because all you do is sit and join meetings

Managers will not prefer their team members having reduced work hours because it gives them time to think and plan the next step. Smart people will use the time and find a better thing to do. Companies/managers cannot afford it. That's why Indian companies will always find the most important work around the evening times, so people are forced to stay back after sunset
