Work hard before it's late. Life waits for none

This is a throwaway. I want to spread awareness so that no one goes through my shoes.

I started at the age 23, 10 LPA, my career, while some of my friends started at 20, 30.

They were 20 21 years old, supported their families, sent all their salary home, while I was barely able to send 40k.

COVID struck for all of us, while they were able to save their parents. I lost my mom to it, because I couldn't afford the beds, the time I was able to arrange money, it was late.

Dad always used to motivate me, to do better, his cheers were genuine. Lost my dad an year ago. No amount of my money could save him.

A girl I loved, cited my salary was less and her father wouldn't agree, before I could reach the desired salary, she was marri-ed right infront of my eyes. She loved me back too, but, she couldn't go against her parents. Being ugly, she was the only one who ever said yes to me.

For now, my life is empty, my room is just a mattress, a 28 year old dude, tired of job so much he doesn't have energy left to study. I can explore more of my hobbies, sure, but nhi hota.

Kuch bhi ho, achieve things early, tabhi unki value hai, nhi to bhai, badme jitna marji achieve kar lo, sab zero feel hota hai.

All the time I wasted, scrolling useless content, not being productive enough, came back to me, becoming my own enemy, eating me from inside.

Whatever you are doing, pursue it strong, with confidence, with commitment.

All the best.

Covid took many lives, even many rich/affluent peoples lives, so one shouldn’t blame oneself for that. It was all about bad luck there, and some part about inherent immunity. Once infected- and almost everyone got infected- it was hardly about money that could save you, it was more about your body’s own immunity and how bad the infection was. Money and all, was a very small factor in overall sense. So while a personal tragedy for those affected, hardly anything much to blame there, or to hardly any lesson there. (May be even someone with crores of money, may not have been able to save.)

Talking of your career front, you started better than most others. Most people start career in 3-5 LPA range, you started with 10 LPA, that is certainly not bad. Obviously it is not great, or not superb, but it is not something to cry about either (unless you are from super-top-Tier institutes).

Thanks, but at the same time, 28 is not old. None of it was in vain, your parents are watching from above. You can still achieve your dreams. Uninstall social media if you're constantly comparing yourself to others. Take it 1 day at a time. You're alive in 2025 the best time to be alive.

I have the money now, but no one.

There is nothing left to achieve. My expenses are barely 25k per month

Bro, suggestion! Now you don’t have any dependency, try living life you it doesn’t matter.

In simple, terms just try to do something odd, leave corporate! Maybe assistant director in a movie or open a tea shop. Like odd, odd! Sell paintings on Goa street!

Or go to some remote village in north east, and be a school teacher.

Be a hippie not in terms of drugs but in terms of life, try this lifestyle as well.
Have you been to thailand, if not go there and see how Europeans are living their lifestyle their although retired but still.
