As part of the new work-from-office mandate, is it mandatory to complete 9.15 hours in the office each day, or is there some flexibility? I've noticed that many employees are leaving the office after less than 5 hours.
If your work from home balance is in hours you have to attend full day. If it's in days you can work for 3.5 to 4 hrs go home apply wfh. Your balance will not be deducted

You have to complete minimum 3.5 hours. It is not mandatory to complete 9.15 hours in office.
I have seen people asking to apply OD for the remaining hours, but it's totally wrong OD has to be applied when you are travelling on official purpose or working from a client location. You can still apply WFH for the remaining hours on the next day after the attendence is marked already so your WFH balance will not be affected.
Do we need Manager approval for this partial WFH??
3.5 hours and remaining hours as work from home. Once the application detect office attendance, WFH day will be credited the next day.
For now it is enough to complete 3.5 hours from
Office, then you are considered as present in tool.
Rest hours you need to wfh
Rest you can apply WFH, that will give present/WFH applied, this will not affect the remaining WFH
