Is attending office for 12 days mandatory even if there are holidays and leaves? Like if we take leaves for 2 days, Will it be fine to attend office for 10 days!!!

Just do 60% of working days
If it’s more than 11 you need to go 12 days

Okay, thank you

No, you must attend for 12 days. Leaves and holidays don't reduce the mandatory days. Check with HR if you want to challenge it, but don't get your hopes up.

Capgemini WFO days calculation is as follows:

  1. Total office Day = 60% x Calendar Working Day (Example - 0.60 x 23 (July Working Days) = 13.8 ~ 14 Days)
  2. Net office Days = Total office Days - Exemption - Leave - Holiday
    (Example - 14 Days - Exemption - Leave - Holiday )
  • For Oct-24,
    Total office Days = 14 days (23 working days * 0.6) Net office Days = 12 days (14 - 2 national holidays )

  • So, a person is required to work from office for 12 days to be marked “Compliant”.

  • And if you take any leaves then you can subtract 12 - no. of your leaves.
