Trending @Accenture; Work during Notice Period
I have 5 weeks remaining till my LWD, my manager is assigning all the work now and asking for updates every other hour. I am so tired and frustrated. What do I do?

Even I had the same situation, I would say the best thing would be to honestly not join any calls whatsoever and for the work just connect once with your manager understand the agenda and then only respond on chat when you feel comfortable.
I did the mistake of working quite a lot during my notice , literally apart from good wishes there ain't nothing that you would get.
Only work that much that you are comfortable with and forget everything else.

My manager keeps on pinging me for updates if I don’t reply, he will calls to get updates. I told him I can’t handle this now, he says the work is very less and I am making excuses to not work

Don't give a shit about your manager, it's their duty to understand that employees on NP should not be given more work to lessen the dependency. You just don't pick the calls and just tell them that there is a medical situation at your home hence you have to tend to your family.

Stop working hard nonetheless. Delay every work. Start missing calls. When they ask, give a strong medical situation at home and say you're not able to focus. Say you'll try to do better but actually do nothing. Keep chilling. You're anyway leaving, right? Why to care about the work and manager?

Still ur worried for project 🤣

Ignore

Actually same thing I faced in my previous organization TCS where my manager used to assign tasks in last 1 month of notice period even I used think of same. My suggestion would be Keep away or offline in teams and give more number of interviews for more counter offers and also convey him on chat directly and also update the same in sprint planning calls as well.

Is market is good Currently? Even after applying I'm not getting calls

Yeah, thanks

They will do ofcourse but you have to give excuses work slowly and chill
