I am so disappointed and angry today. I never thought Accenture management would be so bad. I joined Accenture on 6th November, 2023. Seems like one of the worst decisions. So as per terms of Employment my probation is of 180 days, which would have ended on 3rd May, 2024. I resigned due to a bad client and a toxic work environment on 30th April. So as per probation period my notice period should be of 30 days but on the portal it was showing 90 days. I talked with HR, she said she will look into it and told me to move forward with my resignation. I did the same and then we got to know that my people lead was getting mails to confirm if he wants to extend my probation or not. And on 25th April he submitted on the portal that the probation period shouldn't be increased. And the system finished my probation on the 25th itself. Now on 3rd May I got a system generated mail saying my probation is over now and effective of 3rd May, 2024 my notice period will change from 30 to 90 days. I shared the same with HR and she updated my LWD as per 30 days notice.

Everything seemed good now.

But Today HR messages me tell my notice of 90 days and also updated the same in the portal again. On asking for an explanation she just says probation ended on 25th April only.

Now here is the worst part After all day long discussions with manager and HRs A different HR approached me and started trying to convince me to stay a little long Instead of 90 days stay for 60 days. Saying what we will tell the client, we can't find a replacement so fast, etc.

So as they are not able to find a replacement they started to go above the mail and employment letter and start forcing me to stay longer.

In what way is it ethical. In my 6 years of experience it's the worst company I have worked in. One thing I am sure about now, in my whole life I am not coming back to Accenture and never going to recommend anyone to join here. Worst place to work.
