Definitely, we need different approach of interviews to gauge the intelligence in the proliferating age of AI/AGI.
I don’t have specific answer but only more questions.
Does it still make sense to grind the Leetcode/HackerRank/HackerEarth? or judge as failure if somebody failed to write nested SQL query with window function or don’t know some Python libraries/concepts?
Does it still make sense to follow/purchase the snake oil sellers aka Bhaiya-Didi who sells courses-interview prep on YouTube-LinkedIn?
Does it still make sense to prepare to get into MAANG companies to become reach?
Everybody is talking about vibe coding and some companies have been blocking access of third party LLM/GPT services to avoid confidential data leak and advising to use only Corporate-Enterprise level Microsoft Copilot.
Lots of stuff happening in AI, it’s been quiet on GV for a while, host some AMAs with AI experts. @Micheal_Scott
It is reasonable for one to think that LeetCode grind is a lot different from real job and it is not a useful measure , but just think of a world without it , then people would be hired based on their colleges , just like any other profession... Which is a real nightmare
