The future is usually optimistic for the most amount of population
Whenever you feel negative due to overhyped headlines - just look at the past predictions and how the world turned out to be :)
We still live in the best time of human history
12 lakhs income tax slab change is good enough reason to party for a lot of people haha
On a serious note, source of optimism should be people around you and their prosperity. Not someone across states or countries.
As long as you and yours are alive and well, everything else doesn't really matter as much.
