My family bought gold at 30k way back in 2017 which was very expensive for us. Well..
Same scenario.. 2024.. now gold was 60k.. and parents regretting not buying in 2017.. Still they bought.. well..
Both the time it was for marriage.
This will always be the case, we'll look back few yrs from now and wonder how cheap gold was today at 1.65l. But it will always be expensive for that time.

"Aaraynsh" (what does that even mean) thinks his infinite wisdom is smarter than the outcome of a large scale trial-and-error experiment spanning 5k+ years.
"Save money for future purposes" - that's what gold is used for, you twat. You buy in your means, and pass the existing to the next generation. Gold is called streedhan for the same reason, traditionally women guarded it fiercely and not have it wasted on useless things.

That's sounds good but actually is a bad idea . With so much gold price hike ocassion like marriage is where you are bound to buy gold and years later this gold is worth way more. I married in 2021 and the gold prices since then have quadrapled.

That's the problem with the middle class. Most of us don't think practically.
