Trending @Wipro; Wipro's Promotion Policies Under Scrutiny
Working in wipro from nov 2021 in B1 Band & same project so far.Though maintained good rating.Still now no more hikes / Appraisal, even for band promotion to B2 , they kept it on hold stating the experience should be more than 5+ years.
Considering the challenges at Wipro regarding hikes and promotions, coupled with the uncertain job market, how can I effectively navigate my career trajectory and ensure continued growth and development?
Saafi seedi baat haii, Agar life time padh skte, scale up kr skte hoo toh go for any other mnc or something otherwise side by side give 2 to 3 years for a reputable government exam.
Take control of your career by learning in demand skills or you will be at the mercy of manager/company. If upskilling is not feasible then make peace with your situation....there are lot of people without jobs also.
Are guys it's depends on project to project and skills to skills.
Wipro is like collective for of lots of small company, each project odc has its different culture, opportunities and hikes.
Hikes also there.. All depends on projects.
Check what do u like to do web apps, api development or cloud or any other, but first check the job market and and stackoverflow surveys. They provide good stats then decide what to do next and go outside from Wipro if u feel u r not getting chance.
Do others band people too encounter situations like this, or is it just people in B1 category?
As I checked a few of my friends were facing the same situation...
