Wings 1 External Certification stopped or it is continued ?

I heard that external certification for Wings 1 has been stopped, does anyone have any idea that if it is allowed to submit a certificate for Step 2 in Wings 1 exam.

So from what I’ve experienced, certificate is reflected but it’s not a part of wings 1 criteria now . Till last August the policies were in favour and it was accepted but now only technical track is the way to go !

(Ps I’ve also heard a policy revision happened in which we will only be able to give tracks according to the unit you belong to . List is officially there but if you complete training’s and become eligible for any of the track you like before sept 10 you will be allowed to sit in exam this time)
