Really ? It depends on the management. Some of the units are such ass that they are trying to force hybrid even when the client allowed wfh and employees are onboarded with clients on wfh basis as location. Plus the location and skill mapping is way out of track.
The poll has no meaning there's no permanent WFH even in product companies now even amazon And Microsoft are enforcing strict hybrid and WFO and Indian companies pertcular service based won't all WFH max to max hybrid but depends on project it'll differ too... Come back to real work and stop imagining these kind of fantasies
Why are you even comparing product companies ? They compensate better than service based and provide lil bit better work environment. They also may not fool employees with those "policies" that are only in effect when it's in favour of company. Anyways the poll does have meaning if and only if the workforce chose to stand against wfo, however that can never happen in India, cause of the high population and low # of jobs and people are even willing to work for less.
