Will you take this offer?
Say you get laid off from your FAANG level job , now the only offer you have is 42LPA (fixed) and permanent work from home but join within 2-3 week.
Will you take it? Assuming this is the only offer you have . You tried in Google etc but job market is brutal and you couldn't clear it. You are already in the job market for 2 months .
What do you think about the offer.

If I am in the Job market for two months and still couldn't score a job/money that i wanted, then it simply means i lack something. It could be skills, motivation or just luck. I would take that 42 LPA offer and focus on the job while taking a break from interviewing for jobs. After 6 months i would retrospect if i have better chances of growing or achieving things faster being in the 42 LPA job or i need to look out. Based on that i either focus on my current job or prep for interviews and give another shot while collecting the 42 LPA paycheck.
If I (yes, still me) think I can't focus on the interview prep while making sure i keep my 42 LPA. Then I (yes, me) never deserved that high paying, fancy FAANG job.
Never lose a good thing while chasing something better

Yeah, that makes complete sense.
I find these sort of posts very weird or maybe I am not goodat understanding the so called "Troll Posts". So, SOMEONE worked at FAANG LEVEL company. And now they have a 42LLA fixed WFM. What I don't get is, why would that SOMEONE need to rethink this offer. If they have that sort of experience and even have a 42LPA in bag, why would they need advice if they have been in market for 2 months already✍️

I mean there's a conflict, the person can probably get much better offer (given he worked in faang) , but this offer require joining within weeks , so job hunting isn't possible. But market is shit, been out of job since 2 month makes this offer good.
It's a trade-off.

Assume year of experience 5-6

What is it that you’re worried about? Is the company not good, the hike too low, or is the job role not what you were looking for?
