Yes not only arrears you will also get interest on arrears at the rate of 18 percent

It is clearly mentioned that the hike is effective from 1st September. Still people don't get it

Cause according to labour reforms a hike may happen in any month during a financial year but it will be counted from April and hence arrears will come for the back months.

Salary Components Under Wage Code: Basic Pay, DA, HRA, Bonus, Overtime and statutory deductions (PF And Gratuity) under the New Wage Code salary structure , it has been made mandatory that 50% of the total compensation should include basic pay (which will also influence take home salary as well as employer contributions).
