If you are allocated then it's fine you are safe but try to be complaint for WFO Atleast for the next 2 quarters

Agreed. What @CooperateKing42897 said makes sense. See, we are not sure whether the management will stop with firing 2%.
What if they discover 2% is not enough and decide to fire few more but the benched people are done ?
Their next target would be people in project and this WFO would be a big factor. So just like @CooperateKing42897 said remain compliant while there is FUD.

Of course yes, if you are not working a minimum of 6 hours and the salary is 20+ lpa and non billable to the client.
