Will Tech Bros again vote for Modi in 2024.
Quite a good number of TechBros are Modi supporters, some of them actively contributed in 2014, 2019. So come 2024 will the Tech Bros still vote for Modi or any change. Just a random poll.
Tech bros with high salaries, pay humongous taxes. Out of all the existing parties, BJP makes the best use of tax payer money by developing infrastructure across the nation. Highways, bridges, roads, electricity in remotest of districts. Plus, the economy has done well during his tenure, and as the environment has been business friendly, more and more number of startups have turned up in the last 9 years, and most of the ‘Tech Bros’ work in startups. So yeah, most tech bros are more likely to vote for BJP, as other parties like AAP cannot be trusted(just give freebies with taxpayers money, this comes up in office conversations, and a lot of folks resent this) , or CONgress(highly incompetent and corrupt), and there’s not really an alternative national party that can come close.
Lately, I’m not very happy with BJP, they had poor leaders in Karnataka, didn’t do much development in Karnataka, and hence lost badly. But it’s far better than the likes of AAP, CONgress
People who label government subsidies / services as freebies are the same people who get awestruck when they visit europe and then go on to give example of free public health care, free public education, free public transports in these european countries.
They label these services as “better standard of living” and move to these countries, but in their own country call it “freebies”.

India is going back in time step by step… “Economy has done well”? LOL People conveniently forgot about GDP rate and how its formula was even changed. And Unemployment rate was all time high during 2019 election only. And Congress corruption? How many of the Congress scam got taken to conviction? In fact 2G case accused got acquitted by Court. On the other hand they bought legalised corruption of “Electoral Bonds” and what not. And didn’t you guy see the Corruption unleashed in Karnataka and how Congress had made anti-Corruption as their main election agenda. What an irony that the party which came riding on anti-Corruption wave of pre-2014, supported by AAP, janlokpal movement etc, got bashed on that same anti-corruption issue in Karnataka. I am pretty sure, that Karnataka model of Corruption will be implemented across the Nation with time. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Truth remains, that most of the BJP supporters support them in the name of “Development”, but the real reason is that they love- BJP’s pro-Hindutva stand, an image of being the Hindu-saviour, and saviour of Hindu religion and traditions/symbolism. That’s why majority of people support BJP. And then there is also subliminal hate and division deep down, so if it comes to Hindu Vs Muslim, they feel like supporting BJP. Of course being educated, they can’t accept this up front, but if you have a heartfelt, open discussion with any BJP supporter friend/colleague, you will realize this.
You mean to say Congress is not corrupt? You are so brainwashed man. And if BJP loses for not working and doing corruption in Karnataka, then that is a good thing. We shouldn't become loyalists to bunch of political parties.
Why are becoming a loyalist? Indian economy wasn't doing any great under congress. It was a global phenomenon where every country was having a fast growth run. Whereas now India is doing better than other countries. The comparison is not just temporal but also wrt other countries.
And don't you want your hefty tax to be better used for infra development? Or let it burn for senseless freebies and high corruption?
TechBros never had to face the direct impact of Demo or Lockdown.
I know many small, medium businesses impacted by shoddy execution of DeMo. And when these owners complained, the response was "You are doing something illegal, you deserve it". They actually believed that the Rs 2000 note had a secret chip in it.
Again during lockdown, most TechBros were comfortable in their gated communities, while most were literally on the streets. Again so many businesses had to shut down, but why would TechBros care when they could binge on Netflix, order everything online. At worst they could not go on those summer vacations to exotic places and miss a chance of uploading the pics on Instagram or Facebook.

Not a fan of Rahul Gandhi, but he has gone past that Pappu stage. Guy played his cards smartly during Karnataka elections, and has come up with some good observations in recent times. I guess he has got a better circle of advisors around him.
And Modi has not exactly covered himself with glory at recent G7 meet. Except those staged rock star events with NRIs, and the usual PR hugs nothing substantial has come out. On top of it he surrounds himself with Yes Boss kinda advisors.
RaGa is not a PM candidate. He should prove his worth in state election as CM or improve his constituency.(i dont hear about development in his constituency)
He lacks proof of work. And hence I fear that i cant handover the reins of country to him.

If BJP comes to power again in 2024, it will be disastrous. These guys failed miserably in so many things. From GST to demonetisation, highest taxes in world and in return what we getting, Hindu-Muslim bullshit.

To the genius who said people appreciate freebies in Europe, dude, just looks at the taxes in Europe. They’re well over 45% and upper class people with very high income pay over 50% in taxes. No one is opposing free healthcare and free education, but why free electricity, water, cash to unemployed people?
To the one who’s saying BJP doesn’t accept any criticism, every other comedian, actor, influencer, writer is criticising BJP. And their careers are flourishing. Yeah, some face legal trouble, but thats because of other reasons like Money Laundering, fraud, like what happened recently with some activists and journalists. Apart from these, many followers of BJP criticised them for their poor work in Karnataka, many criticised them for their recent decisions.
Fact is the anti BJP people just cant accept that people of India, who voted for CONgress time and again, could see through their vile intentions, and then chose BJP, and are happy with their work. These bunch of people think that if BJP wins, people are illiterate, hateful, democracy is dying, and then as soon as BJP loses one state, all of a sudden democracy is flourishing.

In all socialist countries unemployed people are given stimulus during their period of unemployment. There have been numerous studies with multiple groups where the effects of such stimulus was analysed. In almost all such studies not only did the unemployed person got a job with that “freebie” but also up skilled themselves so they don’t have to go back to such a situation again.
Your prejudice against the unemployed and the downtrodden shows your privilege.
Nobody would like to stay poor their entire life. Most of those people are just bounded by the circumstances that they live in. For lot of those people these “freebies” are means for their survival.
And I know there is no point in saying all this to people like you. You lot are not against the “freebies” because if it was such a strong issue for you then you wont be defending BJP here because they themselves were using “free ration/rice” and other tactics before the UP elections in 2022.

On the matter of freebies, so called “revadis”, BJP supporters want people to believe that BJP doesn’t doll out freebies! That is cute! Talking of “Hate monger”, YES, BJP is a hate monger, divisive party. Their entire existence lies on their hate mongering agenda. They feed on the hate and division lying deep down in their supporters. Look at how Bajrang Dal, VHP, ABVP and RSS operates, what kind of issue they rake up etc (Don’t bring in the bullshit of social service of RSS here). Look at how many of these organisations’ members are accused and convicted in riots, murders etc. Read SC constituted SIT closure report (yes the same report which says Modi can’t be prosecuted, and yet it reveals several other things against BJP’s state Govt of those times). Congress is not milk bathed either. Read Nanavati Commission on 1984 genocide to see what Congress did in that massacre. And Congress still supports that massacre accused (Jagdish Titler, Sajjan Kumar, Kamal Nath). Had BJP not been in power, Sajjan Kumar would have never been convicted. And Jagdish Titler is about to be chargesheeted now. Full credits to BJP for taking them by horns and ensuring that one major conviction. But but but, does Congress still carry on with their anti-Sikhs program or hate agenda? I don’t see that. In fact Congress kept winning in Punjab for such long tenures; not that it means much in that sense, but I don’t notice any specific targeted anti-Sikhs hate being done by Congress. And what BJP does is for anyone to see… Anyway, to each his own, people can keep believing till all that fire reaches home… Look at those wrestlers protesting in Delhi. They too were strong Modi and current Govt supporter, and now the fire has reached them…
BJP is like any other political party, it won by making voters believe its different from other parties.

Corruption - BJP state Govts are notoriously corrupt to the core. Na Khaunga na Khaane Doonga is another hollow slogan like most of Modi ones. Almost every BJP leader worth their name has their hands in the till, including a whole lot at the Centre.
Karnataka BJP is corrupt, everybody accepts that. And Modi ji himself actively campaigned for BJP in Karnataka. So Modi ji campaigned for Corruption. That should put all Corruption argument to rest. Modi ji may even sell the country happily, if it comes to retaining power (why he campaigned in Karnataka? Why is he mum on wrestlers protests, same wrestlers who he called Beti, laughed with, ate with?). Everything is about retaining power.
No political party is best. Congress had a long run already in Center. BJP is hell bent on burning the country to the ground (literally too, look at Manipur). I just wish all these power hungry politicians are taught tough lessons.
