Will TCS retain an employee with 80% hike ? Will HR ask for the offer letter to validate ? I am having a good dependency in project.
I have been retained with 50% hike. I was getting 50% outside and TCS have matched my offer.
Depends on your manager whether he/she is fighting for you. If they retains they will surely ask for offer letter to validate and audit purpose.
Is it okay to share the offer letter ?
I guess yes. I was skeptical about doing so, but did not had any options. I spoke to one ex-HR from tcs and he suggested that we can share since that’s how it works in tcs, they wants to see the offer letter for audit purposes.
The offer letter will confirm that you are not faking the number that you are quoting and also the HRs gets an insight about how much other organisations are ready to pay for your skills.
Currently chances are dimm for retention but if you are indispensable in project in without you there will be project loss or huge billing loss then it is upto your manager to push your case with HR
