I think @SuperbPagan you know more than us. TCS never changed his CTC structure since 2002. You need to watch a YouTube session where there is great conversation done by one of the Noida based HR 😜

This restructuring benefits employees opting for tax exemptions under HRA, NPS, which are based on basic pay. Also puts lesser amount in variable pay. I have heard like their peer companies have implemented it.
