Trending @Infosys; Will project change request result in PIP ?

I'm currently working as a specialist programmer, but my current project doesn't align with my tech stack or career goals.

I'm thinking of voluntarily stepping out of the project—has anyone done this before? Will this lead to a PIP or impact performance reviews? Would love to hear your experiences!

Is it that easy? So I joined infosys in April 2025 and got into a different tech stack project. Tried applying IJP but haven't gotten any update from them

yes. mostly they will find any excuse to put you into pip. Thats how the manager ego works. Again everything depends on your rapport with the manager. Try talking for a smooth exit.
