Have not watched it but from what I read online they have used the code names that the terrorists used during the hijacking as it is in the movie. The codenames were published by GOI in the brief too.

In real life they did mention that. But in the series they didn't call out the real names of Muslim terrorists who did this. In those you will see how passengers only have described the hijackers. Not saying. Series is a reflection of that. If you haven't watched the series and are just going with the propaganda, first go watch the series before you form your opinions. In no way were the terrorists humanised. They have shown some facts that were recounted by the hostages like they did play antakshari with the terrorists and they were provided food and water in Kandahar but they were equally brutal in beating people and even killing in cold blood. And just to show that they were muslims, they even mentioned that it was the month of Ramzan and they will be maintaining their fasts. In no way was it ever implied that the terrorists were Hindu.
