Trending @Infosys; Will I get fired?
I'm a technology analyst with past 3 year appraisal rating as 2 Commendable and an Outstanding.
In my current project my team is struggling to get it done in decided delivery date. According to my project leads I was the root cause and didn't support my team well. I recently had a call with my leads and it didn't go well and I disconnected as they were blaming me for all issues.
There is going to be an escalation on me to highest level as they are saying I'm the reason the project failed, like
Causing deployments fail Not available during weekend to support team
Will I be fired?
25 hazar wale ke kandhe pe 25 crore ka booza nahi dalte bhai, you won't get fired, your manager might get fired... The thing is, he was taking credit for your work, now that you failed, he doesn't want to take the credit for the loss.. Don't worry, work within policy, and deliver within your limits with proper documentation.

Let me know what will they do to resource who performed well in previous projects but failed in this one.
If you are only doing that then what other team members and your lead is doing? Put a strong point on that and escalate it in higher level. Don't be afraid, whatever they are telling is good that you are only working in the team and rest are chilling.
You won’t get fired. Maybe get a Lowe rating. But this has happened at a good. If you are out of this project find a new one and get a rating based on that. Your performance there till October will overshadow this. You are lucky this happened after you got yiur CD/OS rating. In your defence prepare an email on why you think this project failed. Rather than having a heated conversation over a meeting. Give them something to think about before they come to the meeting.
You have received top ratings in 3 years that proves you are skilled and talented. Still you are scared. How much they pay u 30k ? Leave infosys you will easily get 15 lakh outside .. even infosys is giving 10+ to people with 2-3 years experience
Possible,in bad mafket they use smallest reason to fire
