Will I be laid off?

I have been with TCS since April, 2021. First as developer in BFSI domain, and then for 11 months in CBG-TTH unit. Now from today I have been put on bench. My skill set .net 4.5, but I'm trying to upskill myself in Cloud and Devops. TCS is my first company, and because .net 8 is trending now, other companies don't hire me as I'm not well versed in it. Please guide. Thanks.

It was good, had a legacy project there. Skillset used were outdated. But I got to learn things there... atleast my logical and coding skills got used.

Cloud and devops is not an easy task, I suggest add some points in your profile

Add some point in profile ...like? I have profiles on LinkedIn, Naukri.com and my resume. What type of points I should add? As a beginner I'm planning to do certifications. Preparing for AWS Cloud Practitioner right now.

Try to give interviews outside tcs your experience level is in demand i mean number of years experience

They either need person for support, or person who knows .net 8 + Angular/React. I don't wish to study all this, but AWS and Devops. So not applying for .net role outside TCS.

I'm upkilling... I don't wish to be a .net developer anymore.
