Will I be in trouble if I install games on my work laptop?

I want to play games on my office laptop after office hours, will I be in trouble? They have this tool installed on the laptop which keeps track of what's getting installed in that machine. Will they fire me for this act?

Wouldn't recommend unless you're in a startup.

You have admin access to your work laptop? Games should be fine, pirated games though will make the InfoSec team send a swat team to your house.

Take your chance and see how your IT software and firewall tools react. Also keep it ethical by not opening apps that access is internet from office network. Most importantly, never take chance with pirated games. Source: i am doing this with paid steam games and will remove it the day IT complains. So far so good for 1yr.

You will not ask this question, if you are serious about your job. I simply cannot comprehend.
