
Trending @Capgemini; Will Half-Day Leave Count Towards BTO Attendance?
In Capgemini, as per the BTO policy, we need to report to the office for approximately 12 days in a month. I have a doubt: if I’m unable to complete 12 days in a month and I apply for a half-day every day for one week, will it be counted as office attendance or not? Also, if there is a holiday in a month, will the required number of days reduce to 11, or will it still remain 12?
Currently, I am on the bench, and this month I have gone to the office only once. After that, I came to my hometown and have been stuck here since the 2nd. During this time, I applied for one full-day leave and one half-day leave. At the moment, I don’t have enough leaves left to cover this month. Can someone clarify whether half-day leave will compensate for the BTO days count or not?

It depends on the total working days
Suppose working days are 22 and you take 2 half day means 1 day and 2 full day leaves so it is 3 days leave so 22-3 = 19 days now 60% of 19 = 11.4 days it is considered as 11 days

So when we apply half day that time we can WFH, right? like no need to report in office?

60% of the total working days or 12 days, whichever is less
