Will AI take away all our jobs ?

As someone working as a tester, this question is constantly on my mind. With tools like ChatGPT writing automation scripts and generating test cases so efficiently, it’s hard not to wonder — is the role of a tester becoming obsolete?

I’ve been amazed at how AI can assist with test automation, data validation, and even exploratory testing suggestions. While it’s exciting, it’s also a bit unsettling.

Are we moving toward a future where human testers are no longer needed? Or will our roles evolve into something new — perhaps more focused on strategy, oversight, and creativity?

Would love to hear what others in the tech world think. Are you adapting? Upskilling? Or worried like me?

Let’s talk about it — where do you see the role of testers in the age of AI?

Didn’t you learn automation and moved to automation testing from the earlier fully manual testing? Same sort of thing needs to keep happening, new tech comes, learn and shift.

Yes I am into automation , but still some companies are removing testers. And asking developers to us ChatGpt for testing . So in that case what is the scope of testers in coming future?

Yep. AI will take away all the jobs. I honestly don't mind becoming a janitor.

first thing companies wil never deploy the AI’s within the company because in the fear of data breach or due to client agreement restrictions, but few parts of work will be completely integrated with AI from now on !! example : front end devolopers , BPO jobs , data analysis job
