Will AI replace core jobs like civil / mech/ automobile design jobs?

The total number of jobs will be reduced, because fewer people can adequately do these jobs with help of AI-enhanced productivity.

So you can think of the jobs that got eliminated, as having been "replaced" by AI-enhanced productivity of remaining workers 🤷‍♂️

Replacing is a big word, it will transition. Jobs will be cut down.
