Why they created chaos?

Just wondering if the company is saying layoff process will be done during the course of 1 year which will be around 1000 per month why did they gave this in news and created chaos among employees ? What was the purpose also they knew by putting this in news the share will go down which ultimately reduce the valuation so what was the thought process behind this any thoughts ?

Force Resignation of 1000 people per month shouldn't be a bigger news .

Stock prices went down because 12000 is TOO LOW for the stockholders. They expect more. They want to streamline the headcount.

Do you really think corporate really worry about reputation?? Reputation won't generate revenues.

If your reputation is reducing on what basis the client will trust them and give Projects? I believe reputation is bigger concern specially for service bases company.

Google laid off so many ppl last year but we are still using Android phones right?

FAANG MAANG would have gone bankrupt but "reputation" mattered..

If anything layoffs boosted the reputation showing leadership took difficult decision during difficult phase..

You are too naive if you really think it is just 12k

Yeah it can't be 12k or else it shouldn't be public . Story is much bigger what we are seeing . Stocks will show the real picture in coming days already 15 percent down this month.
