Trending @Wipro; Why there is seperate deduction for medical ?!?!
I joined Wipro this month and I got my first payslip and I noted that there is deduction for medical 950 rs and I checked further it is there for all the months. I expect Wipro needs to provide me medical, but why they are dedicating from my salary? If you have knowledge on this, could you please explain on this

It is called group insurance. It is mandatory... no way to opt out. Depending on your band, you can claim upto 40K per year with medical bills, specs, dental etc
Please enroll if you have not enrolled. It covers you, 1 spouse, 2 children. 3L is the limit.
If you want to buy for the parents, you can buy. Parental insurance premium will be returned at the end of the every year if not claimed
