
Trending @Accenture; Why the fuck this RTO exists…
They mentioned that RTO is there for team collaboration but in my location i am the only person and rest all the team sits in Hyd, Bnglr and Pune. Why cant i do WFH and if RTO is that important they should give me a team to work with.. it is really frustrating to come twice a week just to sit and do virtual calls which can be done in home also

Slowly there will be a process where your project team should exist in particular locations only. It'll come up by mid of next year, and RTO exists as a means of silent firing of people, who do not comply with this rule they either leave themselves or company fires them.

I had the same situation as you, but I clearly stated my PL that I won't be visiting two days a week as I don't have project mates in my location. I still follow one day per week.

I tried the same and they told that the max they can do for me is that instead of coming office on the fixed days i have flexibility to come office on days which i want but I should visit twice

Hey @Passionatesoul the problem with RTO especially for SEZ zones they need to have offices filled with at least 50% capacity. Extending twice a week doesn't make much sense until and unless they have very clearly objective.
Heading forward, other companies have enabled 5 days WFO due to which this give pressure on Accenture by the other organizations and sort of enforcing this here as well.
At the end, it's upto you how much you can comply with these policies
