Why so much backlash on this ad?
Isn't it obvious that ₹49 is some first time offer to attract customers like zepto/blinkit does and not what's actually being paid to the worker? No worker would onboard to work at ₹49/hr..
Services starting at ₹245/hr is way more than what typical house helps make in India .. even more if they include transportation & most users would opt in for add ins of more tasks?
Is it the usage of the word "maids" instead of house helps?
Maybe because the ad kind of objectifies maids? Like quick grocery

49/hr is what u pay to the company, I gyess they pay more to the maid. They are just burning cash as of now.
