Why salary is same as last year ?

Hi Friends

Can somebody tell or compare last year's may salary to this year's may salary. I see it is slightly increased just by 1000 rupees. My salary is under 12 Lakh so the incometax deduction not happened for this year. So there should be s significant increase in the incometax amount this year as per new tax slab. This is pathetic.

HIS has been deducted this month

It was deducted last year also. After comparing last year's payslip I saw no such differences.

Even for me the same issue , tax deduction is more this time . Although as per new tax slab in hand should be more but it’s less than previous one .

It also depends on what was previous ctc, if it was under 7 then you will not see any difference. Moreover his premium has been increased this time

No it's more than 7 and as there was no increament this year I was expecting a increase in the salary.
