Why PIP?

Recently I have been seeing a lot of posts that are being put on PIP but never heard of anyone in our project and I don't think it's common practice.

Are you on PIP? If you are why would they put you on PIP ? What are the reasons they stated ?

In TCS when you say manager doesn't mean reporting manager it could be any one HR, Reviewer and Delivery manager any idiot who don't have created his kingdom they don't want any travel makers or someone to mess with them so they have planned this PIP.

By any way it doesn't matter for ok I have already left this shit place and joined a new organisation with a 50% hike on salary.

So who cares..😏😏

Guys you know the problem kaha hai TCS become Bhashmasur... Now Business me in actually achha ho nhi Raha jaise taise jugaad se Balance sheet me numbers manage ho rahe .... Expenses are the same ...only easy deduction is from the employee side to manage the expenses.

Pip are for those troublemakers who are not inline with company policies and enjoying doing nothing considering tcs doesn't layoff. Now all those problematic people are at risk either they have to be productive as per their grade/designation or otherwise face the music.

Dnt aggree with you... If sombdy giving thr 100% n team doesn't work properly n informed to mngr for betr work in team gave sm inputs so mngr took tht in ego n strt politics on tht persn n put it in pip

You seeing many such post here all those who don't want to work are here to create hype that tcs is about to fire everyone.

Irrespective of PIP being raised or not they simply brag here about PIP

In my 15 years journey in TCS , i know it's because of people not because of rules some one defined . Either the associate is not working properly or has been very arrogant within the team or the associate pissed off manager and HR . Otherwise they cannot put associates into PIP that much easily . Most of the managers or leads are very understandable except for a few exceptions somewhere . Even managers / HRs have to follow rules defined, only this much percentage A s B s in team and only these many promotions and all .

Personally I see nothing wrong in PIP though . As long as we document our work and doing our best nobody questions us . It's also a way to upskill
