Why people call directly on whatsapp to reach out for project requirements?
One of my friend is reporting to RMG and getting calls directly.on whatsapp from different people to discuss project requirements and that too post office hours which is 6 PM... why ? How to address this ? We are new to TCS and not aware if we report how well this will be handled.. heard many stories hence need guidance..

Because folks are outside the country sometimes and you don’t have teams or gchat if you do then they don’t have license for 365 and google and using only client chatting platforms and hence employees are resorted to these methods to reach out new folks
It's upto you. If you wish to ignore you may. People are occupied the whole day and at the evening maybe after the work they get time to give calls to RMG resources. Please discuss with RMG if you have any constraints.
But if we discuss with Rmg will it backfire on us ?
TCS is just like that nobody cares about office hours, be it in the project or outside of the project. They call whenever they want irrespective of the time.
If you entertain this garbage then it's your loss..
people tend to do whatsapp call only because that call can't be recorded..
there are some dialers which can silently record your call without prompt "your call is now being recorded"
