But sometimes the company tries to retain by matching your offer from another company, what to do in such case ?
without knowing your level and the company, it's impossible to give a precise salary verdict. what happened here has nothing to do with your pay and everything to do with their power. when you resign, you are no longer a person to your old boss, you are a data point walking out the door. don't give them the satisfaction of knowing where you landed.
