Why no one wants to become a scientist in today’s generation ?

Pay scale, number of jobs available, lack of committed funding.

(Barring Data/AI scientists)Because we don’t see those scientists on social media. Working in Govt institutes, unless it is IIT/IISc isn’t fashionable. I bet most of us didn’t know Dr APJ Kalam till he became the monumental name in DRDO and then the President of India.
