Why no one is hiring?

I have about a year plus of experience. Startups mostly and I'm applying here and there but no one is hiring. Why is it so hard to get a job even after a year of experience :'(

Anyone hiring on their team :( My current company will shut down their project soon. Because of poor management they picked bad projects (not suited for the expertise of founder) and since being a small no name startup the founder is blaming it on us. So I might need to get a job asap :((
