See, this is a very age old argument used to divide the populace. It's not really about the religion.
Number of children reduce as a population gets better access to education, healthcare, housing, food, etc. This pattern can be seen across the world, the more "developed" nations have lower overall birthrate, inverse is true for most "underdeveloped" nations. Muslims, lower "castes", tribals in India are generally more impoverished, resulting in the families having more children. This pattern is not tied to the last name of the household, but rather the socio-economic background. Poorer Hindu families also have a "make a lot of babies", visit any village and you'll see. Providing access to facilities is the first step towards reducing inequality that is very real.
Agree the law should be applicable to all regions.
If you are talking about reducing inequality then I suppose you can donate a part of your salary in addition to what you already give in form of taxes.
End of day the truth is the wealth of those who work hard and earn is being siphoned off to those who make more babies. And then they chant bharat tere tukde honge or atleast support those who chant it
It's directly related to religion, when people are blinded by religious emotions and the society around them which influences them to have more kids.

God is not telling you to have kids. I have seen many muslim families not able to fulfil their basic needs, give their kids a comfortable life, teach them in good schools, ensure they become an asset to the society rather than a liability. Since the last 75 yrs, the politicians have fooled our Muslim brothers and sisters and you are not doing any better to continue the faulty legacy past generations have carried out.

I accept Muslims TFR is nearly 3 times of Hindu society. It does and will lead to demographic change in near future. Plus your point on taxes, as i always say, this country is underwritten by del, kol, hyd, chennai and Bangalore. These few pockets literally finance our giant country and lower segments of the society. Fabian socialism plus huge population of ppl who would vote only for freebies lead to this scenario. Tough.
