Why is UP teaching Sanskrit as the 3rd language ? Who uses that language in day- today use?

We keep debating the 3-language policy, but are we asking the right question?

States like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan have already made space for Hindi to help people from outside.

But what about Uttar Pradesh?

If so many people from UP move to these states for work, shouldn’t the third language help them adjust better there?

I respect Sanskrit, but in real life, a living language can change opportunities.

Maybe it’s time to rethink the order.

First, a language that helps people grow. Then, one that preserves heritage.

English is already thr, UP should include the above languages in the syllabus as anyway they don't have rojgar thr and will never have one so if they're migrating they should learn respective language for smooth assimilation
