Why is this whole Founder Mode debate going viral right now? Is it only me who feels this way.
I am maintaining core infra at a large established org. i have been part of many group conversations with co-workers apart from work. i observed that I could not even relate with that they speak out and find the conversations very surface level, hype driven and sometimes just trying to show off.
While I know most of them come from the same normal teams as me. They seem to be more influenced by social media and aspire to lead a life like a founder, which they themselves are fake and far away from reality.
It's none of my business what they aspire for. But I find it very superficial and fake. Manager mode is exactly why our systems don't crash on a Wednesday like today. And there is no take away from those talks. Does anyone else feel the same? Please do not tell me this is corporate, do your and go home because that I know already.
You do know that linkedin and twitter is just 1% of people beating drums right ?
