Why is there no want for finance/ Accounts role in startup’s?
All I see is wanted for technical roles . There’s no wanted for finance or accounts role.

First time founders often neglect the importance of compliance, legal and finance

So how do I convince the founders that finance is as important to them as others things ?

It's a difficult task, but not impossible
If you're really dedicated, you could prepare a proper pitch about it and then present it to the founders and try and convince them

Usually outsourced.

Dude somebody just posted to say they're looking for a financial analyst for their startup

Accounting is outsourced. Finance is ignored. Next?

Free things are not valued. As long as there is free money available to founders they won't care about finance dept. The moment VCs push for profitability finance dept comes into picture.

It’s outsourced. Not a key competency that’s needed till PMF
