Why is PR called a Pull request and not Push request. I am pushing my changes to main na??

it's a request to main branch to pull your changes into it.

Gitlab says MR, MR ja bsdk… although Merge request sound ma more reasonable, Pr request is for Bitbucket!!

Reviewer will pull your changes on their machine and validate them before approving. Hence it is called pull request or merge request.

Pr is problem report... Make a pr for your problem 😉

Main branch will pull your changes 😄😌
