Trending @Cognizant; Why is our Govt Ignoring the 90-Day Notice Period in IT?
Just wondering – why is the government so silent about this crazy 90-day notice period in the IT industry? Most countries have a 2-week or 1-month notice, but here we’re stuck serving 3 months, losing out on better offers and career growth.
Companies want immediate joiners but expect us to wait for 90 days to leave.
We miss good opportunities just because of this long notice.
And after all this, the new company might even revoke the offer sometimes.
Why hasn’t anyone raised this issue yet? Isn’t it time for some reform? What do you all think – should the notice period be reduced or is 90 days still okay?

Government and corporate don’t care for the well-being of a common man. Government only cares about making money and why will they bother about the 90 days notice period?
True, they will always concentrate on putting tax on us rather than hearing our issues
