Why is EY on a hiring spree ? Would it have any impact on existing employees?

Hi everyone, want to know your thoughts on why EY is on hiring spree ? EY India as well as EY GDS.

Would these hirings have any impact on the existing employees in terms on less annual hike or etc ?

They are on a hiring spree because a lot of existing employees have left because of the toxic environment

I have heard the conversations of my dear friend with her manager. The culture is very bad and they love to play blame games. Promotions are very very delayed in the consulting business unit it can go as long as 6-7years. The only good thing is the flexible work hrs in GDS atleast
