Why is everyone under so much workload and pressure in corporates or only I am feeling the same

Post covid, I am witnessing this difference , everyone is in hurry to hit very unrealistic numbers without increasing manpower

This weekend I met my 4 friends, all from tech companies and all of us had to work over weekend. So yeah, something is wrong...

That's because raising funds from outside is becoming very expensive. Even a profitable company with big bank balance cannot use its bank fund without affecting financial parameters. So we have being tasked with unrealistic numbers to being in more revenue, i.e cash flow.

Every target set upon is basically the mirror image of the incompetence of the senior management is managing cash flow and financial parameters set by the board.
