Trending @Infosys; Why i haven't recieved role upgradation mail?
Most of my batchmates recived role upgradation mails,they became senior systems Engineer from system engineer. But I haven't recieved, what might be the reason ?
There is no specific reason for it. Mostly progression is automated. Some will get earlier than others based on manager recommendation, their prior experience, the college the come from etc. but atleast for JL3 and JL4 progressions ther won’t be difference of more than 6 months except for outlier on both sides . Just let your manager know he should be able to intervene.
I have informed my manager before new quarter starts , he said he checked with HR , and told me you ll get SSE role this quarter ,But no update yet .I am working from past 2.8 yrs still System engineer
Wait for 4 months and take promotion to JL4 directly

Ask your manager, I was lateral joinee almost everyone who joined with me got progression but I didn't receive in april. During nomination time, your manager has to nominate you when the slots are available. If not, you have to wait for the next quarter. So I told him, I also completed 1yr and rating everything were same like others who got the letter and asked why I haven't received the letter, he didn't say anything but this time last friday I also received it.
