why I am scared

I am 28 male and recently married.. earning decent about 1 lpm and living good life.. but sometimes I just feel scared thinking what if I loose my job and all.. and what will happen..
how to deal with these thoughts..
do you also feel same?
I don't have much investments and all... I come from lower class financially..
- Save well
- Invest in MFs aggressively
- Plan an upskilling route
- Do courses to learn
- Switch to bump the salary every 3-5 years.
- Make sure your expenses don't go up with salary. They go up with needs, not wants.
- By 35 save 50L. That will give you mental security.

U r at 14-15lpa. So at this salary girls father agreed to marry her daughter to you ? Or was it love marriage. In my network girls father abuse boys if they earn less than 30-40lpa or are class 1 govt officers
I earn around 1.3 inhand and ctc is around 20iesh... mine is love marriage.. while discussing the marriage these things were not of very much importance as we belong to same kind of financial background.. as I said I am came from lower class so this much salary is more than what we could have thought few years back...
Depends on your wife’s earning. Don’t be negative. If you have lot of loans try to clear them first. Once you are debt free or with minimal debts then start saving for an emergency fund. Once you got emergency fund start investing slowly. If your wife is good and supportive you will overcome everything don’t worry. Be positive.

If you are both earning well, i would request you to invest heavily in equity or mf be aggressive, and make a good corpus for yourself.. and slowly try to have some passive income either from investment or freelancing etc. which will free you from stress.
Keep emergency fund for next 6months expense. Should be enough if you lose your job. Easier said then done though.
I have this mentality - I got this job . I will get another one if I get laid off from this one. Even if I don't get paid the same as before, I'll still get one .
