Why hr doesn't clarify things properly

I got call from hr that I have passed coding round and they need to schedule interview round

15th may was the date decided, I started studying for interview and took 1-2 leaves from my office of that now I didn't get any mail,

I asked again for interview confirmation, he said he has requested for interview to 16 may timeslot, I will get mail by EOD

Now I haven't got any mail for timing, why they can't simply clarify things and keep us waiting

now neither I am focusing on studying nor I am focusing on my current company work πŸ˜•

I think when HRs see the ctc candidates are getting, and compare with their own and they dominate the candidate by making them wait for the interviews and maybe they get some satisfaction by doing that.

Well Few HRs do have this sadistic tendency of keeping candidates hanging by a thread and it is Sad

Thats too much expectation from HR. they are like a postman. Someone gives a message , and they pass it to the candidate. Beyond that the only role they have is to book the meeting room for the interview cal..

Most organizations don't have HR which is strong enough to stand upto and question the business ( as most of these interviews require representatives from the business in the panel). The reason for the above being HR most often lacking the business understanding and missing a seat on the table. Looks like a chicken and egg situation.
Again this isn't a generalized statement for all HR professionals and we do have a lot of strong business centric HR professionals.

HRs are just too hard to deal with.
