why F2F interviews still mandatory
I dont understand the need for F2F interviews as last round or even worse everything in F2F.
During pandemic we have all seen the effectiveness of virtual work setup, meetings, hiring and what not.
How would the assessment of right candidate differs with F2F which Virtually can't be done?🤔🤔

Maybe because the interviewers are tired of interviewing and at the same time invigilating to ensure that the candidate is not doing any type of cheating.
Maybe it has become a Tom and Jerry kind of situation where sometimes Jerry beats Tom and sometimes Tom beats Jerry.
In F2F, one doesn't have to worry about or keep wondering about what innovative way the candidate might be using to cheat and how to beat them or catch them.

Understood but i feel like companies should be flexible enough to make amendments if possible.
And as of now i have experienced both type of companies who are like we will try if possible to make ot virtual considering the travel and all. Few are like arrogant who doesn't even bother to understand the interviewee situation.

Good analogy of Tom and Jerry btw😊

Unexpected In-Person Interview for Infosys 3rd Round
I am about to have my 3rd round of interview with Infosys, and it's going to be face-to-face. My first 2 rounds were virtual, so I'm not sure why they've made this one person. Has anyone else experienced something like this?
