Why don't people respect other's space in public areas?

At Cubbon, soaking in last bit of Bangalore People are walking here with music, news even chants playing on high volume - use earphones maybe? Loudly meditating

I feel, we as general public of this country, put our happiness above other's In whatever few countries I have been, they are very mindful of not disturbing anyone with their antics
